Two Friends to host holiday open house

A third friend recently joined the ladies at Two Friends in downtown Lewes to help the friends gear up for the holiday season.

Bringing her own original holiday styling to the little shop, Lynette Palen, of Designs by Lynette and Michael Patrick Antiques joined the owners of Two Friends to prepare for the 2012 holiday season.

Palen said she is thrilled to return to the Cape Region's retail arena.

"I missed being able to go out and do the store displays, and these gals have the best shop in town," she said. "So if you are going to get back into it, then why not start at the top?"

Palen says she specializes in holiday and seasonal decor, and according to Two Friends co-owner Carol DiSabatino, she will be working in the store creating scenes that incorporate antiques into more modern designs.

DiSabatino said Palen will decorate the store four times a year: autumn, Christmas, spring and summer.
