Blood Bank of Delmarva to open Oct.31

Blood Bank of Delmarva will be open tomorrow, Oct. 31 for all donor appointments and blood donation.

Local blood inventory levels have been affected by Hurricane Sandy and we ask that blood donors please do their best to keep their scheduled appointments.  If you are unable to make your appointment, we request that you call 1-888-8-BLOOD-8 to cancel so we can attempt to fill those appointments.

Additionally, for those who were scheduled to donate on Monday and Tuesday, we ask that you please call as soon as you are able to re-schedule those appointments.

The status of scheduled mobile blood drives for Wednesday, October 31st will be determined later this afternoon and an announcement will be made at that time.
