Del Tech to host Saturday Before the Season Nov. 17
Del Tech Georgetown's Saturday Before the Season fashion and shopping day will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17. Tickets are still available for the featured event of the day, the Couture & Class Fashion Show, which begins at 1 p.m., and can be purchased by visiting www.dtcc.edu/fashionshow or calling 302-855-1607. Proceeds from the annual show benefit international education programs at the college.
The all-day Gift Bag Shopping Bazaar is an opportunity to shop many local boutiques under one roof in the Carter Partnership Center. Participating businesses include Angels in Air Designs, Brides 2 Be By Hope Mitchell, Candra Secrets, Coolspring Cottage, Josephine’s Daughter, Lilypad Children’s Boutique, Miche, Oasis Bath & Body Boutique, Odysea, Sur La Plage, Tiger Lili, Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry and Vinyard Retro Shop.
The fashion show will be streamed live for shoppers from 1 until 3 p.m. Admission to the Gift Bag Shopping Bazaar is free, and parking is plentiful.
