Putt for a truck at 2012 Ducks Unlimited banquet

Annual event slated for Nov. 30 at convention center
November 14, 2012

At the 2012 Eastern Sussex Chapter Ducks Unlimited Dinner, Logan Bellinger sent lightning through the crowd when he sank a 50-foot putt to win a 2012 Ford Escort.  This year Ducks Unlimited is upping the stakes, putting a 2012 Ford F-150 Super Cab XLT 4x4 pickup from Boulevard Ford on the line.  If the owner of the winning ticket for the chance to make the putt actually sinks the ball, he or she will take ownership of the vehicle. Price of the tickets to putt for the truck is $25 each.

The purchaser of the ticket must be in attendance at the banquet for a chance to putt for the truck. This year's banquet to raise funds for the international conservation efforts of Ducks Unlimited will be held Friday, Nov. 30, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center with doors to open at 5 p.m. The night's activities will include a cocktail reception, dinner, silent auction, live auction of guns, waterfowl art, fishing and hunting trips, and many other gift items related to the outdoor life.

In addition to the chance to putt for the truck, Ducks Unlimited supporters can also buy raffle tickets for a 12-gauge Benelli Super Black Eagle II Camo shotgun or a crossbow of similar value.  Cost of the raffle tickets for the gun or the crossbow is $5 each or three for $10.

Raffle tickets for the truck putting competition and the gun are available from any Eastern Sussex Ducks Unlimited Committee member or at Hazzard Auto Parts on Coastal Highway.
