“'Twas the night before Christmas and all hated that louse,” is a line that doesn’t bode well for one character in East Coast Garden Center’s Holiday Murder Mystery. Ebbie Scrooge runs her cosmetic business like a carefully wound clock that should never stop. Holidays, Ebbie believes, are a rip-off perpetrated by greeting card companies and avaricious employees like Bobbie Crackit. Bobbie’s family and fellow employees ask would it really kill Ms. Scrooge to give them one paid holiday off a year? The answer is…yes, apparently it would.

The Cordrey Center at East Coast Garden Center invites the public to Footlight Productions' Holiday Murder Mystery Dinner Thursday, Dec. 13.  The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails, then dinner at 6 p.m.,  followed by murder at 7 p.m. Cost is $40 per person or $75 per couple including gratuity. A cash bar will be available.

For information or reservations, call 302-945-3489 or 302-745-1233. The Cordrey Center is at 30366 Cordrey Road, Millsboro.
