Delaware State Police are searching for two men who they say broke into a Georgetown home Nov. 17 and held two residents at gunpoint before stealing cash and jewelry.

The men entered an unlocked door at 7:25 p.m. at a home in the 19000 block of Savannah Road, said Cpl. John Day of the Delaware State Police.

Both men had handguns; one ordered a 65-year-old woman into a bedroom where he stole jewelry and cash. The other man held a 20-year-old man by gunpoint while the robber stole other items from the home, Day said.

The men forced the victims into the 65-year-old woman's car, took a purse and cash from the car and then fled, Day said.

The victims were not injured.

One man is described as black, about 25 years old, 5-feet-9-inches tall, 170 pounds, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a handgun. The other man is described as black, 27-36 years old, about 5-feet-9-inches tall, 175 pounds, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a handgun.
