Rose Marie Hurley (nee Angiuoli), 95, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at her residence at Cadbury at Lewes. Rose was born in Newark, N.J., Sept. 4, 1917, and until recently was a long term resident of Lyndhurst, N.J. and a parishioner at Sacred Heart Church.
Rose married Joseph F. Hurley at Sacred Heart Church in 1940. In addition to raising her two sons, Rose worked for many years as an administrative assistant in the Lyndhurst Police Department and prior to that as a legal secretary.
Rose is survived by her sons, Jim Hurley and his wife Carol of Lewes, and Tom Hurley and his wife Marianne of Houston, Texsas; her seven loving grandchildren, Joe, Jim, Michael, Tom, Jennifer, Kathleen and Mike; her brother Sam Angiuoli; and sisters Josephine Candio and Betty Rullo. She is predeceased by her loving husband Joe; and brother Anthony Angiuoli.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, from 3 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 23. Visitation will resume at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 324 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, Va.
