Philadelphia's Lorraine Ranalli brings 'Gravy Wars' to Browseabout Dec. 1

From the city that brought us cheesesteaks, Rocky and soft pretzels comes "Gravy Wars: South Philly Foods, Feuds & Attytudes." Author Lorraine Ranalli is a Philadelphia media personality and self-proclaimed "cook next door."

"Gravy Wars" is a 168-page humorous book filled with Italian traditions, superstitions and dozens of family recipes. Get in on the fun with Ranalli as she talks gravy and all quirky things Italian-American at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at Browseabout Books on Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach.
