New and honored staff members excel at Landmark Science & Engineering
Landmark Science & Engineering, one of the largest integrated civil engineering and environmental sciences consulting firms in the region, has announced that Dakota M. Laidman, EIT, has joined the firm and will work with the civil/water resources engineering and environmental divisions. The firm also notes that project engineer Stephen C. Wooden, PE, has earned registration as a Delaware professional engineer, and Morgan McGee‐Solomon, EP, has qualified as an environmental professional under ASTM guidelines.
Laidman, a certified Delaware engineer‐in‐training, will provide engineering design for water resources and stormwater projects and will assist with other environmental projects. Laidman earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering with a concentration in water resources and water quality and a minor in civil engineering from the University of Delaware in 2012. “Dakota’s well‐rounded educational background made her an ideal candidate for our team on both the engineering and environmental sides,” said Keith Rudy, who will provide supervision and mentoring.
Wooden earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Delaware in 2006 and has worked for Landmark for the past five years in land planning and development, with a major emphasis in commercial, residential and educational projects. He will continue as a project engineer, excelling in civil engineering design in stormwater management design, drainage studies, grading, erosion and sediment control, roadway and entrance design, and utilities design.
McGee‐Solomon qualified as an environmental professional under ASTM guidelines that require experience, training and educational proficiencies necessary to exercise professional judgment to develop opinions and conclusions regarding conditions indicative of releases or threatened releases on or to a property. McGee‐Solomon, who earned a bachelor of science in geology with special merit from the University of Delaware in 2004, has more than six years of experience in completing environmental site assessments for the firm’s public‐ and private‐sector clients.
