Mary Ellen Carr, Coldwater employee
Mary Ellen Carr, 69 of Millsboro, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at her home.
She was born in Philadelphia, Jan. 12, 1943, daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Huff) Flocco. Mary Ellen worked in sales most of her life and was currently employed with Coldwater Creek, a clothing store in Rehoboth Beach. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, ceramics and traveling.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 31 years, Francis Carr; four children, John, Mary Ellen, Donna and William; a sister, Agnes; two brothers, Charles and Joseph; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, Pa. Interment will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa.
