Don't infringe on Second Amendment rights

December 28, 2012

For those of you who believe in taking away our Second Amendment rights, please put a sign in your yard stating Gun Free Zone. No? Why not? Afraid of the bad guys? Yup, so are we. Guns don't kill people; people kill people.

A refresher to the Second Amendment to our Constitution: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

As one of our founding fathers, George Washington, stated: A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”

We are at the point in time where this right is about to be taken away from us, piece by piece. Will you stand by and let this happen?
