Robert Bruce Burnap, Long Neck resident
Robert Bruce Burnap, 67, of Long Neck and formerly of Albany, N.Y., died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Burnap; daughter, Dawn Burnap Diaz and son-in-law Armando Diaz; son, Robert Burnap Jr and daughter-in-law, Beth Burnap; five grandchildren, Joshua Burnap, Jack Burnap, Spencer Diaz, Jonathan Burnap and Parker Diaz; a sister, Patricia Rafferty and brother-in-law James Rafferty; many loving family members and close friends, including best friend John Scheely and wife Judi Scheely.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends may call after noon. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro.
