Gerald Hocker sworn in for first Senate term

Sen. Gerald Hocker, R-Ocean View, is sworn in by retired Sussex County Superior Court Judge Bill Lee at a ceremony Jan. 8, at Legislative Hall in Dover. Hocker is joined by his wife, Emily (from left), granddaughter, Maryn, daughter-in-law, Cary, and son, Gerry.
Hocker has started his first term in the Delaware State Senate after 10 years in the House of Representatives. The owner of numerous businesses in Sussex County, Hocker says he hopes to foster a more business-friendly atmosphere in Delaware. Hocker represents the 20th Senatorial District.
