Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Delaware Beaches rated among best Jellystone Parks in nation

January 19, 2013

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Delaware Beaches is now one of the highest-rated Jellystone Parks in the country.

Entering its third camping season, the 277-site park has just received a Pinnacle Award from Milford, Ohio-based Leisure Systems Inc., which franchises Jellystone Parks. The Pinnacle Award is given to parks that rate 95 percent or higher on the inspection of their facilities and operations by LSI inspectors.

“This is a real honor for us,” said park owner Brent Fannin, “especially since we’ve only been part of the Jellystone Park chain since the spring of 2011.”

The Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Delaware Beaches is one of Delaware’s newest and most modern campgrounds. Situated just off of Route 1 in Lincoln, Jellystone is within minutes of the popular Delaware beaches, the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, tax-free outlet shopping, casinos, state parks, museums and tourist attractions as well as some of the finest seafood and culturally diverse restaurants in the state.

The park encompasses 32 acres of spacious, big-rig-friendly RV sites as well as cabin and RV rentals. Each site comes complete with water, sewer and electric, including free cable television and wireless internet service. Amenities include a large swimming pool, camp store, laundry facility, dog run, playground, basketball, volleyball, horseshoe pits, a game room and, of course, lots of supervised themed activities and entertainment for all ages.

“We’ve had two years of growth since joining the Jellystone Park chain,” Fannin said. "More and more people are becoming excited that there is a Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort here in Delaware. They appreciate not only our commitment to cleanliness and customer service but also the safe, fun and entertaining environment we create each and every day. With an assortment of themed weekends we offer here, from Olympic competitions to Mardi Gras to Christmas in July, there is sure to be something going on for all ages.”

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Delaware Beaches will be open from April 1 to Nov. 3. Seasonal campsites are also offered for the 2013 camping season - a camping option that not only yields big savings, but also makes for a great summer at the beach, while enabling families to spend quality time away from home anytime all season long.
