Millsboro VFW announces Voice of Democracy winners

Lisa Pham wins, Kasey Verducci is runner-up

Veterans of Foreign Wars Sussex Memorial Post 7422 in Millsboro once again sponsored the annual Voice of Democracy essay contest at Sussex Technical High School. The essays centered on this year's theme, Is the Constitution Still Relevant in Today’s World?

Writer of the winning essay was junior Lisa Pham of Laurel. Runner-up was sophomore Kasey Verducci of Harbeson.  Pham's essay will now be entered in the regional contest.
