Edward Yadeski, retired federal employee

Edward Yadeski, 86, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Lewes. He was born in Uniontown, Pa., Sept. 9, 1926.

Mr. Yadeski proudly served his country for 30 years with the U.S. Army. He entered the service during World War II. Following his military career, he served as a purchasing agent for seven years with the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Mr. Yadeski and his wife retired to The Villages in Florida before moving to Sussex County.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret (Wackerbauer) Yadeski.

There will be a committal service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the chapel at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro. Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Yadeski may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
