Elsie Mae Greenwalt, retired housekeeper

Elsie Mae Greenwalt, 71, of Georgetown, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, in Salisbury, Md.

Born Aug. 20, 1941, in Berlin, Md., she was the daughter of the late Calvin P. and Iva Esham Jarman. She was retired from a career in housekeeping. She was last employed at Walmart as a sales associate. She was an animal lover, and especially cared for dogs and cats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin who passed in 1995; and also by a brother Richard Jarman.

She is survived by her children: Robert Greenwalt, of Baltimore, Md., Lori Elliott and husband Charles, of Georgetown, Charles Greenwalt of Georgetown, Timothy Greenwalt, and wife May Macrohom of Millsboro, and Allen Davidson, of Georgetown.  She is also survived by two brothers: Charles and Ralph Jarman; and four grandchildren: Heather Blackburn, Brandon Elliott, Shane Elliott, Victor Greenwalt and Serenity Davidson; along with two great-grandchildren: Dylan Stewart and Landon Elliott.

Funeral Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Delaware SPCA, or any animal support group of your choice.
