Delaware Hospice and Ocean View CHEER Center will continue their monthly Aging Well: Mind, Body & Soul workshops from 4 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Ocean View CHEER Center, 30637 Cedar Neck Road, Ocean View.
Guest speaker Emily A. Farley, Esq., who serves as elder law project director with Community Legal Aid Inc., will discuss how seniors can protect themselves as well as their assets as they age, including fraud protection for seniors. Participants will be able to ask questions and gather resources to help guide them in future legal decisions.
Farley graduated from Widener University School of Law in 1998 and earned an advanced tax degree and an estate planning certificate from Villanova University School of Law in 2011. She was admitted to the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court in 2008.
Farley has worked at Community Legal Aid Society since 2001, and in 2012, she became the elder law project director, handling elder law issues statewide. She is a wife and mother of five.
