Bernard Shriver 'Bucky' MacSherry Jr., Rehoboth resident
Bernard Shriver 'Bucky' MacSherry Jr. of Rehoboth Beach and Potomac, Md., died of a heart attack while on vacation in Tamarindo, Costa Rica Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.
He was the beloved son of the late Barbara Drury Wise and Bernard Shriver Macsherry; devoted brother of Richard Meredith Macsherry (Christina Spilsbury) of Tamarindo, and Helen Drury Macsherry of Potomac.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at the family home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Potomac, at noon, Saturday, Feb. 9. Interment will be in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Potomac.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bucky’s memory to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, 924 G Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001.
