The DelMarVa Post of the Society of American Military Engineers is offering scholarship opportunities in two categories. A college scholarship is open to high school seniors or incoming first-year college freshmen from the DelMarVa area who have been accepted into the engineering program of a four-year Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology-accredited college. Military affiliation is not required. The award varies; a one-time award of $1,000 is typical. Application deadline is Sunday, March 31.

Engineering camp scholarships are also available for camps held by the U.S. Navy Seabees, Port Hueneme, Calif., July 21-27; and the U.S. Marine Corps, Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 23-29. These scholarships are available to students who will have completed their freshman or sophomore year of high school and have an expressed interest in pursuing a degree in architecture, engineering or related fields or in attending a military service academy. Applications are due Friday, March 22.
