Teams needed to support statewide Walk for Autism April 20 and 27

February 23, 2013

Organizers of the annual Walk for Autism are addressing the exploding need for autism services in Delaware this year by focusing on teams. The statewide fundraiser, which steps off April 20 at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes and April 27 at Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, needs to raise $200,000 to serve the growing number of people and families affected by autism throughout the state.

Rachel Grant, 7, front and center with her arm raised, captained Team Rayray at the 2012 Walk for Autism in Wilmington and helped raise more than $4,000 for Autism Delaware programs and services.
