Thelma Marie Weibling, family matriarch

Thelma Marie Weibling, 92, of Lewes, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at her home with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 28, 1920, in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late Jacob L. and Pearl Marie (Willoughby) Stull.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Mrs. Weibling was the true matriarch of the family.

Mrs. Weibling was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Weibling Jr. in 1972. She is survived by her son, Richard Weibling and his wife Nancy of Georgetown; her two daughters: Carolyn Sue McNamara of Red Lion, and Valerie E. McNeal of New Castle; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her dear friend and caregiver, Joann Feathers of Georgetown.

All services are private. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes.
