Sara Adkins Kielbasa, retired practical nurse
Sara Katherine Adkins Kielbasa, 90, of Lewes, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
She was born in Lewes, daughter of the late James Oliver Adkins and Anna Katherine (Wells) Adkins. Katherine worked for Kent General Hospital in Dover as an LPN until her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Apollo J. Kielbasa, in 2003; daughter Bonnie; and son Joseph. She is survived by two sons, David Kielbasa and his wife Linda and Terry Kielbasa; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniel, Victoria and Terry Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Feb. 25, at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road in Millsboro, where friends may call after noon. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Episcopal Cemetery in Lewes.
