First Town Club holds Annual Luncheon at 1776 Steakhouse

Next meeting scheduled for March 19
February 26, 2013

The First Town Club of Lewes held its Annual Luncheon Feb. 19 at 1776 Steakhouse in the Midway Shopping Center. The event was organized by Co-chairs Charlotte Duffy, left, and Maggie St. Jean.

The theme each year is Presidents of the United States, since the event is always held the Tuesday after Presidents’ Day weekend. This year, the co-chairs invited everyone to join in a contest involving trivia about the first ladies.

The First Town Club of Lewes will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, at the Lewes Presbyterian Church's Fellowship Hall. The guest speaker is Claudia Porretti from People's Place, speaking on how the organization helps people find their path to growth and independence. People's Place serves Sussex, Kent and lower New Castle counties.
