Tunnell & Raysor welcomes new associate attorneys

Tunnell & Raysor P.A. welcomes Christophe Clark Emmert, Jamie C. King and Jonathan E. Horner as associate attorneys to the firm.

Emmert practices law in the areas of real estate, estate planning, estate administration, and Court of Chancery litigation, including guardianships. Christophe earned an AB in French literature and history of art from Bryn Mawr College and an MBA in finance from Wilmington University.

After living and working abroad, she returned to Rehoboth Beach, where she worked as a real estate professional prior to attending law school. During law school she served as an extern for the Hon. Sam Glasscock III of the Court of Chancery.

She received her JD with honors from Widener University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Delaware and before the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Emmert is a member of the American Bar Association, the Delaware State Bar Association and the Sussex County Bar Association. She is also involved in the community and serves on the Guild of the Rehoboth Beach Museum and Historical Society. Emmert can be reached at 302-856-7313 for a consultation. King is an associate with the firm’s litigation department. His practice is primarily focused on representing individuals, businesses and business owners in a variety of litigation matters. In addition to his litigation practice, King represents creditors in collection matters as well as businesses from formation through dissolution.

A Delaware native, King is a graduate of St. Andrew's School and went on to earn his BA in political science from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. After college, King earned his MPA in public administration from Wilmington University and a JD from Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Va. While in law school, King was a member of the moot court team and participated in national competitions on environmental law.

King also served as an extern for the Hon. T. Henley Graves in Sussex County Superior Court while in law school. He is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Horner practices law in the areas of real estate - commercial and residential, foreclosures, land use and zoning, banking and criminal defense. Horner graduated from Elon University School of Law. While in law school he served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Robert N. Hunter Jr. of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He also worked for the Randolph County District Attorney's Office in Asheboro, N.C., gaining valuable trial experience and handling the prosecution of cases involving misdemeanors, traffic citations and DUIs. Prior to attending law school, he earned a BS in cellular and molecular biology from Tulane University in New Orleans, La.

He is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
