A Georgetown man already in prison for violating probation has been charged with dealing in child porn following an investigation into a distribution ring.
David Pennington, 70, was taken to Sussex Correction Institution in January after investigators linked him to a child pornography distribution network that included another Georgetown man and a New Castle man, said Jason Miller, spokesman for the Attorney General's Office.
Miller said Pennington received, reviewed and commented on images of child pornography that he had received.
On March 1, investigators charged Pennington with two counts of dealing in child pornography. He was arraigned in prison and held on $120,000 secured bond. He was already held on $50,000 cash bail in connection with his parole violation.
