Kimberly Quinn, registered nurse

Kimberly Quinn, 52 of Lewes, formerly of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was born in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Marjorie and Arnold Bryson.

Kim was a R.N. who loved her work and had the opportunity to touch many lives, particularly through her work in obstetrics, elder care, home hospice care, and as a school nurse. Kim’s return to school and nursing career remain a great source of pride to her family. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time at the beach and with her dogs, Meghan and Doc.

Kim is survived by her husband John; daughter Leah of Newark; son David and his wife Molly of Cambridge, Mass.; siblings Debra Keiper, Dee Duncan and husband Steve and Arnie Bryson and wife Marjorie; and a much-loved extended family, particularly her nieces and nephews.

A memorial prayer services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins- Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where the family will receive visitors beginning at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware SPCA Sussex Chapter, 22918 DuPont Highway Georgetown, DE 19947.
