Salon Milton owner says thanks

March 15, 2013

Salon Milton sends out a heartfelt thank you to Miltonians and other supporters who attended the Sixth Annual Salon Milton Fundrazor. Volunteers raised $3,000 in just five hours for the Milton Historical Society.

Looking around Salon Milton that Sunday afternoon, I saw the view of a Milton that I always knew existed, and I love it. Milton is a community full of caring, participation, giving, and - let's not forget - fun!
It was a pleasure to host an event where people banded together to get the job done and had a great time along the way.

Thanks go out to the Salon Milton staff of Robert McGowan, Kathy Burke, Daria Rowe, T.J. Schwalm, Wanda Hammond and special D.C. superstar-stylist Roi Barnard.
Special thanks to the volunteers - Pat Grieninger, chef and caterer; Lynn Sadler, photographer; Aveda's Julie Perez; Gladys Wilkins, Milton's 50-50 lady; Tom Chaney; Myra Oats; Pam Hudgins; Jen Ellingsworth; and Rebecca and Katy Rowe.
Special hats off to all the folks who donated to the ever-growing bake sale and thanks to Milton's Garden Club for selling their spring raffle clean up tickets.

A sincere thanks to all involved for donating their time, talent and love to this year's extremely successful event.
