Country music star Chely Wright to play Rehoboth April 12
American country music artist Chely Wright, winner of an American Academy of Country Music Top Female Vocalist Award, will be on stage at 8:30 p.m., Friday, April 12, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.
With Top 40 country music hits like "Shut Up and Drive," "Single White Female" and "Jezebel," Wright has had seven successful studio albums and charted more than 15 singles on the top 40.

Singer/songwriter Wright’s seventh album, "Lifted Off the Ground" from Vanguard has been called transformational.
As a songwriter, she has written songs that have been recorded by Brad Paisley, Richard Marx, Indigo Girls, Mindy Smith and Clay Walker, among them Walker's top 10 hit, "I Can't Sleep," which won her a BMI award.
