Rep. Ruth Briggs King meets with constituents about current issues

Next coffee meeting March 20 in Long Neck

State Rep. Ruth Briggs King, R-Georgetown, second from right, recently met with constituents at one of her coffee meetings at Georgetown Family Restaurant March 13.

Among the topics discussed were the gun-control bills before state lawmakers this session, a proposal to repeal the death penalty statute in Delaware and state employee issues. Briggs King meets on a periodic basis with constituents to find out their concerns as they relate to legislative or district matters.

Her next coffee meeting will be held at 6 p.m, Wednesday, March 20, at the Long Neck CHEER Center in the Shoppes at Long Neck.
