Larry E. Altland Jr., self-employed landscaper
Larry E. Altland Jr., 53, of Lewes, formerly of the Cumberland County, Pa. area, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, at home.
Larry loved being outdoors, where he enjoyed gardening and landscaping. He especially loved the beach and animals. He was a self-employed landscaper and housekeeper.
He is preceded in death by a brother: James Altland.
He is survived by his loving companion of 15 years: Greg Hildebrand; his parents: Larry E. Sr., and Shirley (Sterling) Altland, of Dillsburg, Pa.; two daughters: Elizabeth Altland of Lewes and LilyAnn Shipkowski and husband Nicholas, of Bensalem, Pa.; his beloved granddaughter: Kalea Shipkowski; and a brother: Dennis Altland.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry’s memory can be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Services, Milton.
