March 22, 2013

Baltimore Ravens running back Bernard Pierce will be available to sign autographs from 2:30 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 6, at ATI Physical Therapy in Seaford. Pierce ended his rookie season becoming an NFL champion, as the Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII.

Born in Ardmore, Pa., Pierce attended Temple University in Philadelphia. He was outstanding in his collegiate football endeavors, leading the Temple Owls in 2011 to their first bowl victory in 32 years.

“Pierce is my dark horse,” said Wilbert Montgomery, former NFL running back and current Baltimore Ravens running back coach. “A year from now, everybody is going to want to know who he is.”

Autographs can be purchased at the event for $30 each and for just an additional $10, an inscription can be added. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Jefferson School’s Environmental Learning Initiative. ATI Physical Therapy is at 22830 Sussex Highway, Seaford.
