Bellinger’s Jewelers presents Treasure Chest of Talents March 30

Artists' reception 3 to 5 p.m.
March 27, 2013

Bellinger’s Jewelers in Rehoboth Beach invites the public to an art reception from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, March 30. The artists exhibiting are Pamela Aquilani, Jane Knaus, Tony Pratt and Libby Zando. Aquilani and Pratt photograph the natural habitat and fauna of Delmarva. Knaus will feature brilliant floral-motif pastels, along with Zando's sparkling oils of local scenes.

Dale and Nancy Bellinger are long-term sponsors of the arts in Delaware. Later this season, they will be featuring a collectible charm to honor the Rehoboth Art League's 75th anniversary.

One of these unique commemorative pieces will be donated to the RAL for the annual raffle. Bellinger's will also be offering tickets for sale, when they become available, for the 65th RAL Cottage Tour of Art in July.  Tickets for this anniversary year will likely sell out.

In addition to local artwork, Dale Bellinger’s own unique designs will be on display. Bellinger’s carries some of the most celebrated lines available, such as Honora’s pearl collections, Gabriel’s sterling and gold rings and pendants, and Alwand Vahan’s fabulous silver and gold bracelets and baubles.

Whether it be a painting, a photograph, a pastel, or a finished piece of jewelry being created for a client, all of the artists express their talents in a variety of styles.  Works will be on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 30 with the reception and light refreshments from 3 to 5 p.m.

Partial proceeds from art sales supports Children and Families First of Delaware, a 125-year-old nonprofit organization that serves children and families in need.

Bellinger’s is located at 20747 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth, the corner of Route 1 and Robinson Drive, right next to Just in Thyme restaurant. For more information, call 302-227-6410.
