Florence E. Noel, retired business manager
Florence E. Noel, 82, of Lewes, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, March 21, 2013.
She was born in Georgetown, daughter of the late David and Carrie (Matthews) Wilson. She was a retired business manager.
In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon “Ray” Noel; a daughter, Jennile “Sissy” Dewey; and stepdaughter, Margaret “Peggy” Timmons. She is survived by a daughter, Joanne West (Jack) of Palm Beach, Fla.; four sons, Joe Dawson (Joyce), Henry Timmons and Frank Timmons, all of Millsboro, and David Eisenhower of Lewes/Angola; three stepchildren, Ernest Timmons of Lewes/Angola, Susan Timmons Macintire of Lewes, and Betty Lou Timmons of Georgetown. She was the proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Florence’s memory to, Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
