Happy Tails Pet Retreat encourages animal lovers to adopt from Sussex SPCA

April 1, 2013

In an effort to promote animal rescue and adoption awareness in the community, Happy Tails Pet Retreat in Georgetown is providing an incentive to those who are considering pet adoption. Happy Tails Pet Retreat offers full boarding services for dogs, cats and small animals.

The facility will offer a discount on boarding services to all new clients who have recently adopted from the Sussex County SPCA in Georgetown. There will be a discount coupon in the adoption packet from the SPCA. For information on adopting a pet, contact the SPCA shelter at 302-856-6361.

Since January 2013, the Sussex County SPCA has helped more than 125 animals find their forever homes. In addition to adoptions, the SPCA offers spay, neuter and vaccine clinics to keep pets safe and healthy.

“This truly is the best option for those looking to become pet owners, or add to their pet family,” said Happy Tails owner Nichole Bower. “Many of my clients, as well as myself and my family, have adopted all of our beloved pets. Over the past four years in business I have met some of the most wonderful rescue animals. They are just as loving, well-trained and well-tempered as purebred species.”
