Marshall A. Willey Jr., hard working farmer

Marshall Andrew Willey Jr., 62, of Lochwood, Lewes, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, after a long illness.  He was born Sept. 23, 1950, to Marshall A. Willey Sr. and Elizabeth Ellingsworth Willey of Milton.

Andy graduated from Lewes High School in 1968.  He worked hard for years on the family farm in Overbrook.  He was also a security guard and had been employed by Rose's, Draper King Cole and Lewes Dairy convenience market.

He enjoyed hunting and was very interested in the Civil War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; and one sister, Patricia Ann Willey.

He leaves behind to cherish his wonderful memory his three brothers, Lyndon (Elaine) Willey,, Jack (Kim) Willey and Dennis (Bonnie) Willey; four sisters, Charlotte (Arlynn) Hall, Phyllis (David) Roe, Donna (John) Workman and Betty (John) Burton; 15 nieces and nephews; five great-nephews; two great-nieces; and three stepnephews.

Funeral services were private.  Burial was in White's Chapel Cemetery, Overbrook, March 21.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Habitat for Humanity or Lewes-Rehoboth Meals on Wheels.
