Winners of medals in the 45th Great Delaware Kite Festival at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes are:

Gene Bookhammer Award, best all-around: Ben Huggett, Philadelphia.

Most senior flyer: Helene Blum, 84, Harbeson; youngest flyer: Mike Corrado, 2, Annapolis, Md.

Flyer farthest from home: Carson Tippit, Seward, Alaska; smallest kite: Heather Siple, Wilmington; largest kite: Chloe Banino, Irvington, N.Y.

Highest kite: First, Arnold Simon, Pikesville, Md.; second, Mark Battel, Milton; third, Ben Huggett, Philadelphia.

Open ballet kite flying: First, Dennis Smith, East Brunswick, N.J.; second: Jim Cosca, Fort Washington, Md.

CHILDREN

Best store-bought kite: First, Alexis Cosbey, Lincoln; second, Ivan Yelk, Lewes; third, Grace Wiggins, Milton.

Best homemade kite: First, Elsa Yelk, Lewes; second, Zach Siple, Wilmington.
