Tide Runners Bait and Tackle cuts ribbon

April 4, 2013

Tide Runners bait and Tackle, located at 105 Anglers Road in Lewes, cut the ribbon at its grand opening March 30. Shop owners Chris Dudley and Kathy Marshak took over the store about a month ago but kept the name the same.

Dudley is a retired commercial fisherman from New Jersey and comes from three generations of commercial fishermen. The store offers bait and tackle along with hot coffee, snacks, drinks, ice and t-shirts.

Located at Fisherman’s Wharf in Lewes, Tide Runners can also assist in the booking of head boat charters. The shop is open seven days a week from 5:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tide Runners can be reached at 302-827-2513.

Shown at the ribbon cutting are Wharf employees Rick King and John Webber; owners Dudley and Marshak; Rob Johnson; the Celebrations Capt. George Gatsby; and Tide Runners employee Tyler Bell.
