Unit 28 hosts Blessing of the Animals and Easter Egg Hunt

A beautiful day brought a large crowd to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28’s Blessing of the Animals and Easter Egg Hunt. More than 25 animals, among them a rabbit, were blessed by Pastor Judith Moller-Gavlick of the Grace of God Lutheran Church. Moller-Gavlick also provided crosses for the animals' collars.
More than 50 youngsters ages 2-12 scattered for plastic filled eggs in each of three baskets supplied by the auxiliary, as well as gift certificates.
