3rd Annual "Girls" Night Out May 3, 2013

April 4, 2013

Each year, thousands of women are diagnosed with breast cancer.  If diagnosed early, nearly all can be treated.  According to the American Cancer Society, for localized breast cancer found early, there is a 98% survival rate, and for those diagnosed early with all stages, there is an 89% survival rate.  But early diagnosis is the key.

On May 3, 2013 Nanticoke Health Services invites you to bring your mother, your sister, your wife, or your friend to its third annual “Girls” Night Out from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mears Health Campus located at 200 Rawlins Drive in Seaford.

The event will be full of fun with food, games, activities, hand and chair massages, a fun photo booth and shopping.  Women’s heath information about breast cancer and osteoporosis and mammography screenings will be provided.  Women must pre-register to have a mammogram on the night of the event.  To pre-register for a mammogram, call 302-628-1507.

For more information about the event, call 302-629-6611, extension 8948.
