Treasures to host SeaGals Gallery of Delaware April 13 and 14

April 10, 2013

Treasures has announced a special weekend event, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 13 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 14, at 116 Second St. in Lewes. Treasures will host both the artists of Seagals Gallery of Delaware, Sue Lemmons and Cheryl Eashum, who create beautiful, unique sea glass jewelry and seashell art.

Being native Delawareans, Lemmons and Eashum have a true appreciation of the beach and the natural treasures found along the shoreline. As sisters, they have spent countless hours together beachcombing and collecting things over the years, inspiring them to create natural, unique items. Their love and respect for these natural elements - seashells, stones and sea glass - began long ago when they were children, camping and exploring state beaches and bays.

Their handcrafted sea glass jewelry and seashell art are created using items they find and leave in their natural state as much as possible. “We have had such an interest in sea glass jewelry and coastal art, I wanted to be able to offer a wide variety to our customers at one time.” says shop owner Michiko Seto.

Treasures offers a full range of sterling silver jewelry, home décor, lamps and more. Treasures is open daily and extended evening hours in the summer season. To learn more call 302-644-1660.
