Delmarva Rugby to host game Saturday at Beacon Middle

The Delmarva Rugby Club will host the Philadelphia Gryphons at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 13, at Beacon Middle School in Lewes.

Admission is free and all are invited to cheer on and support the local team. Both clubs are members of the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union.

This is the second game of the spring season for Delmarva, which is currently 0-1.

The teams faced each other last weekend at the annual Poconos Cup, with the Gyrphons going home victorious with a 35-19 win.

Delmarva will be hosting a post-game celebration at Beachcomber Restaurant and Club in Rehoboth Beach, the team's official sponsor.
