Beebe Auxiliary announces flowers from Windsor’s now at Beebe Gift Shop

April 14, 2013

The Beebe Medical Center Auxiliary is a volunteer organization that for more than 76 years has supported Beebe Medical Center. Annually, the Beebe Auxiliary presents to Beebe Medical Center more than $300,000 for projects and programs which benefit and strengthen the services offered by the hospital to the community.

The auxiliary operates the Treasure Chest Thrift Shop in Midway Shopping Center and the Beebe Medical Center Gift Shop at the hospital in Lewes. At a recent gathering, R. Michael Clemmer, auxiliary president, announced that Windsor’s Flowers and Plants of Lewes and Rehoboth Beach is now the provider of the fresh flowers available in the gift shop.

An expanded assortment of arrangements and specialized floral creations is available. The gift shop is open daily, and flowers may be ordered by phone at 302-645-3100, Ext. 5522 for delivery to hospital patients.

“We are extremely excited to have Windsor’s in our gift shop along with our other fine gifts,” said Clemmer. “Windsor’s has for many years provided, free of charge, fresh flowers weekly for the west wing lobby of the medical center. It is a pleasure to welcome them to the shop.”

The Beebe Auxiliary is always looking for volunteers who would like to support the medical center by volunteering a few hours each week. If interested in becoming an auxiliary member, contact the membership chairman at 302-645-3538. For further information on the Treasure Chest Thrift Shop, call the shop at 302-644-2878.
