Bonnie M. Ulrich, phys ed teacher

Bonnie Marguerite Ulrich, 67, of Bittinger, Md., died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md. Born Sept. 3, 1945, in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Finley B. and Evelyn (Willey) Jones.

Mrs. Ulrich spent 21 years teaching physical education in the preschool and lower school at the Key School in Annapolis, Md. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Mountain Laurel Garden Club of Oakland, Md., and volunteered a number of years at Christian Crossing, Oakland. Bonnie enjoyed photography, attending auctions, antiquing and candlemaking. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting 42 countries with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Otto Ulrich Jr.; two sons, Edward O. Ulrich III and wife Joey-linn of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Peter M. Ulrich of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Finley B. Jones Jr. of Rehoboth and Vancouver, B.C.; a sister, Debbie Adams of Milford; and three grandchildren, Emily, Grace and Edward IV.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 13, in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. C. Scott Robinson officiating. Newman Funeral Homes P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to The Key School, Annapolis, Md., or Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bittinger.
