Owens Campus medical lab tech students honored

Three students in the Medical Laboratory Technology program at Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus were recently honored by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

Shown (l-r), Kimberly Soboczenski of Milton, Caitlin Collins of Fenwick Island and Kathleen Hickey of Rehoboth Beach received National Student Honor Award certificates.

The award recognizes students in the laboratory profession who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to community service and leadership activities. Through this award, ASCP acknowledges future leaders for the medical laboratory profession and makes others aware of the profession’s contributions.
