Carole McCauley, Millsboro resident

Mrs. Carole McCauley, 72, of Millsboro, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital Select in Wilmington. She was born Nov. 2, 1940, in Scranton, Pa., to Marjorie (Stanton) and Norman Solsman.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Neil R. McCauley; her three daughters, Denine Taraskus, Kelly O’Neal and Heather McCauley; and five grandchildren, Paul, Cory, Josie Taraskus, Emily O’Neal and Colin McCullough. Also her nephew, Andrew Keiper and his wife Zea; her cousin, Sharon McGovern Umbaugh and husband Tom; along with many nieces and nephews. She was also greatly loved by her three sisters-in-law, Beverly Sanders and Bob, Linda Firkins and Gary, and Sharon Barger and Steve.

Services will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 20, at Sussex Pines Country Club, Georgetown. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
