Everett and Pat Beach of Lewes celebrate 55th anniversary

Lewes residents Everett and Pat Beach were married April 12, 1958, at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church in Elmont, N.Y. They lived in Wilmington and Severna Park, Md., prior to retiring to the beach community.

For most of his career, Everett worked with gas turbines used in power generation facilities throughout the world, while Pat has been a homemaker.

Their children are Ken Beach (Cindy) of Wilmington; Jeanne McCloskey (Kevin) of Newark;  R.J. (Ginny) of Greenville, S.C.; and Ed (Jason) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Everett and Pat have six grandchildren: Jamie McCloskey (Erin), Stephen McCloskey, Lindsay Beach, Ryan Beach, Cameron Beach and Nicholas Beach.
