Cape has now lost close games to Milford, Sussex Tech, Laurel and  Delmar.

Delmar, 8-0, playing at Caravel April 20, lost 3-2 in eight innings to the Buccaneers, coached by former Cape standout Randy Johnson, when pitcher Carolyn Szymanski hit a walk-off home run.
