Epworth United Methodist Church announces the Second Annual Lewes-Rehoboth Bell Festival starting at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 4.

The Memorial Bell Choir from Epworth UMC, Judith Moore directing; Deo Gloria Ringers from Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Meldene Gruber directing; and The Bell Choir of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, T.J. Thomas directing, will present a variety of hymn tunes and original compositions.

Each church bell choir will present two selections, then will join the organ and congregation with the spectacular finale, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ "Sine Nomine" ("For All the Saints"). The program will demonstrate the range of percussive bell techniques, the beauty of blending chimes and bells, and a versatility of musicality not experienced in other musical venues.

All are welcome to attend this exciting musical event. Attendees will be asked to make an offering benefiting the Community Resource Center sponsored by the Lewes-Rehoboth Association of Churches.

Epworth United Methodist Church is at 19285 Holland Glade Road in Rehoboth Beach. For more information, go to, email, or call the church office at 302-227-7743.
