Frederick J. Morris, Ellendale painter
Frederick John Morris of Ellendale passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
He worked for Jay P. Donovan Painting in Milford and several other painting contractors. He was a member of the Milford Senior Center.
Fred is preceded in death by his mother, Viola Morris Downes; stepfather, Joseph Downes; and a brother, Laurance Downes in 2011. He is survived by his aunt and uncle and caregivers, Charlie and Kathryn Plummer of Ellendale; cousins and caregivers, Sharon Reed and husband "Chatty" of Dover, Carol Wells and husband Don of Lincoln; and cousins, Denny Williams and Shirley Toomey; nieces, Renee Napier of Georgia and Shery Napier of Florida.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after noon.
